Crystal Porter, MBA

Crystal is an MAI Principal. She is a bilingual professional assisting international companies and government agencies with their approach to the US market through export readiness analysis, in-market matchmaking and market research studies with experience in the U.S., Canadian, Caribbean and European markets.

She has worked with executives in a wide variety of industries and sectors including advanced manufacturing, biotech & life sciences, clean technologies, construction, consumer products, food & beverage, giftware, government, ICT, professional services and the arts. A francophone American, Crystal has lived and worked abroad in Montreal, Canada and Brussels, Belgium. Prior to joining MAI in 2003, Crystal worked on special projects organizing conferences in France on the theme of “how to do business in the US” for The Georgia Department of Industry, Trade & Tourism (currently The Georgia Department of Economic Development) and on B2B matching services for the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program’s F.A.A.R.E. (Femmes du monde Arabe et d’Amérique Réunies pour Entreprendre) Project. She is an alumna of Georgia State University from which she earned a BA in French and a Master of International Business after a decade-long career as a professional ballet dancer.
